How do I redeem the Verizon prepaid refill code?

When you buy a Verizon top up, you’ll receive a refill code or PIN. You can use this refill code to add credit through your My Verizon account.

You don’t have to register for My Verizon. Also, you can pay by dialing the payment service at #PMT (#768) or 89729.

To refill by text message:

  1. Send a message to VZPAY (89729).
  2. Enter the 10-digit or 15-digit PIN in the Message field.
  3. Press OK or Send to deliver the text message.

You can also easily top up for someone else if you have access to their My Verizon. Otherwise, you can send the Verizon refill code to their email address.

How do I check my Verizon prepaid balance?

Dial #225 followed by the send button to find out your balance.

It’s also a good idea to set up notifications in My Verizon. This will warn you if your SIM card is about to expire or your credit is running low. Remember, your number will be disconnected if you don’t top up for more than 60 days.

Here’s how to set up notifications in My Verizon:

  1. Go to the Manage Communications and Alerts page in My Verizon.
  2. Choose how you want to receive special offers when they’re available and click Save.
  3. Select the amount of notifications you want to receive from the dropdown (Low is the best option).
  4. Click Save.

What should I do if there’s a problem with my Verizon prepaid refill card?

If you have a problem with a Verizon prepaid refill or PIN or can’t add money to your account, dial #729 or contact Verizon’s customer service line at 888-294-6804.
