One more thing: versions and servers differ by market
Honor of Kings is published as different builds for different markets — a global version alongside separate regional versions, including the long-running Chinese one. They run on their own servers, with their own events, patches and stores.
Accounts are not transferable between them. Progress, skins and balance earned on one version stay on that version, and topping up on the wrong one does not move across. Always buy for the account and the version you actually play on.

What your Player ID is — and is not
The UID identifies your account so someone can send Tokens to it. It is not a password and not a security secret, but it is also not something to scatter around publicly. The important line: sharing your UID is normal for a top-up, sharing your login is never normal. If an offer asks for more than the UID, run it through the safety checker first.
Why region-locking catches people out
Google and Apple tie your balance to the country your account is registered in. A gift card from a different country will simply be rejected at redemption, and it cannot be transferred, converted or resold through the store. Changing your store account country is possible but usually means spending your existing balance to zero first, so it is rarely worth doing just to use one card.
Versions and servers differ by market
Honor of Kings is published in different versions depending on the market, and accounts do not transfer between them. Make sure you are topping up the account you actually play on, on the store where that account lives.

How do I find my Honor of Kings Player ID?
Open the game, tap your avatar or profile, open settings and look for View UID — it is a roughly 10 to 12 digit number you can copy. The helper above shows the path for your device.
Is it safe to share my Player ID?
Sharing the UID itself is normal when someone is sending Tokens to your account — it is an identifier, not a password. Sharing your account login is never safe.
Why will my gift card not redeem?
Almost always because the card is from a different country than your app store account. Balances are region-locked and a mismatched card cannot be converted.
Can I move my account to another region or version?
Accounts do not transfer between the different regional versions of the game, so top up the account and store you actually play on.
