The highly anticipated Halloween update for Apex Legends is nearly here. According to official sources, the Blood Pact event runs from October 13 to November 3, 2026, across PlayStation, Xbox, Switch, and PC platforms globally. This year, the developers are transforming Kings Canyon with a night-time map update. Players navigating the classic battleground will encounter dense fog, haunted Loot Bins, glowing Nessies, and Pumpkin-skinned EVO orbs scattered throughout the arena.

A major highlight of the event is the seasonal twist on the Wildcard limited-time mode (LTM). The mode includes a new mechanic where squads must choose between Team Beast and Team Demon. By pledging to a faction and completing challenges, teams will earn faction-specific combat perks to gain an edge in battle. Additionally, the fan-favourite Rev Shell Grenades will return to the game as part of the Halloween event loot pool.

Cosmetics are always a massive draw for seasonal updates, and this year is no exception. New Legendary skins are being introduced for several characters, including a werewolf-themed skin for Sparrow and a demon-themed skin for Alter. Revenant, Octane, and Conduit are also confirmed to receive new Halloween-themed Legendary outfits.

However, there is an unconfirmed rumour circulating within the community. Reddit users on r/apexlegends speculate that standard Battle Royale and Ranked modes will not receive any Halloween map updates, suggesting that the environmental changes will focus heavily on the Wildcard LTM. EA and Respawn Entertainment have not yet verified this claim.

For players in the UK, the Blood Pact event offers a perfect opportunity to jump into the limited-time Wildcard mode and experience the new Beast and Demon faction mechanics firsthand. The evening launch times typical for UK updates mean you can gather your squad and dive straight into the haunted Kings Canyon.

Fans looking to collect the exclusive Halloween skins for Sparrow, Alter, and the rest of the roster will need to purchase Apex Coins. These premium currency coins are required to unlock the top-tier cosmetics from the in-game store. It is important to note that exact Apex Coin prices for individual skins or bundles have not been officially detailed yet, so players should keep an eye on the store once the patch goes live.

To grab the new Blood Pact skins without linking a credit card directly to your console or PC, players can top up their Apex Coins securely using platform gift cards. This method is fast, safe, and allows you to control your gaming budget effectively during seasonal events.

You can purchase a PlayStation Store gift card, an Xbox gift card, a Steam gift card, or a Nintendo eShop gift card directly from Recharge.com. Once you receive your digital code, simply redeem the gift card in your respective platform’s store to add the balance to your digital wallet.

After your wallet is topped up, boot up Apex Legends and use those funds to buy Apex Coins directly in-game. You will then be ready to unlock the new Halloween cosmetics as soon as they drop.

The rollout for the Halloween festivities follows a tight schedule this October. All event dates and features are confirmed as of October 12, 2026. Store bundle pricing and specific patch notes may be revealed when the update goes live on October 13.

What it means for UK players
