Why goalkeepers are excluded from the attribute lists

If you have used other FC databases you may have seen a goalkeeper turn up in a “fastest players” list. That is a data bug, not a fast keeper.

EA stores six stat slots for every player, but for goalkeepers those slots mean diving, handling, kicking, reflexes, speed and positioning rather than pace, shooting, passing, dribbling, defending and physical. Sorting all players on slot one therefore mixes outfield pace with goalkeeper diving. Our attribute lists exclude keepers entirely, and the dedicated goalkeeper list uses the correct labels.

Positions count alternates too

A player appears in a position list if that is their primary position or one EA lists as an alternate — alternates are marked so you can tell the difference. That matters for squad building, where a natural centre-back who can play right-back is genuinely useful.

When you have picked your players, the squad builder lets you put them into a formation and see how it holds together.

What these lists will not tell you

There is no “best value” or “cheapest” list here, because EA’s published ratings data contains no prices or coin values. Any FC 27 price list you find elsewhere is working from estimates, not from EA.

There is also no PlayStyle list. EA has left that field essentially empty in the public data — it is populated for a handful of players out of more than twenty thousand — so ranking by PlayStyle would mean inventing the rankings.

From a list to a player

Kylian Mbappé, Alexia Putellas and Erling Haaland all sit at 91 overall, the highest rating in the game. The full top 100 is in the highest-rated list above.

Who are the best strikers in FC 27?

Use the “Best ST” list above — it ranks every striker in the game by overall rating, including players who list striker as an alternate position.

Who is the fastest player in FC 27?

The fastest list ranks every outfield player by their pace attribute. Goalkeepers are excluded, because their six stat slots mean something different and would otherwise produce false results.

Are there lists for each league?

Yes — 37 leagues have enough players to rank, including the Premier League, LALIGA, Serie A, Bundesliga, Ligue 1, MLS and the EFL Championship.

Do the lists include women’s players?

Yes. EA’s published ratings cover both men’s and women’s football, and so do these lists. There is also a dedicated best women’s players list.

Is there a cheapest or best-value list?

No. EA’s published ratings data does not include prices or coin values, so we do not publish a price-based ranking rather than estimate one.
