Apex Legends x Street Fighter 6: Event Dates and Rewards

As of 21 September 2026, the Apex Legends x Street Fighter 6 event is scheduled to begin on 22 September. The three-week crossover introduces Street Fighter abilities in Wildcard, a remixed Olympus map, eight crossover Legend skins, themed weapon skins, free event rewards, and a Hadoken Mythic Universal Melee cosmetic.

Apex Legends x Street Fighter 6 event details

The Apex Legends x Street Fighter 6 event runs from 22 September to 13 October 2026. EA confirmed the dates and content in its official event announcement.

The crossover adds Street Fighter mechanics to Wildcard on a remixed version of Olympus. Players can collect Fighter Gear inspired by Ryu, Chun-Li, Akuma, and Dhalsim. Each fighting style includes its own passive, tactical, and ultimate abilities.

By collecting tokens around the map, players can fill their Fight Gauge and activate Fighter Form. This temporarily switches the game to a third-person camera while providing stronger melee attacks, additional damage resistance, extra speed, a blocking ability, and access to the selected fighter’s full kit.

Each fighter offers a different play style. Ryu can launch Hadokens and use a Shin Shoryuken uppercut, while Chun-Li gains wall-running, faster melee attacks, Kikoken projectiles, and a Kikosho blast. Akuma uses Gou Hadoken fireballs and Shun Goku Satsu, while Dhalsim can float, teleport, and attack with Yoga Sunburst.

The final Showdown round gives every remaining player an unlimited Fight Gauge, allowing them to enter Fighter Form at will. Downed and respawning players return directly to the arena until one squad achieves the final knockout.

Olympus also receives a Street Fighter 6 makeover. The updated map includes Luke’s Gym, Punch Trucks, arcade cabinets, fighter statues, themed street art, and other crossover decorations.

Cosmetics and free rewards

The event introduces eight Iconic Legend skins:

• Mirage as Luke
• Gibraltar as Akuma
• Wattson as Cammy
• Caustic as Blanka
• Pathfinder as Dhalsim

Eight Legendary Street Fighter 6-themed weapon skins are also being added for the R-99, EVA-8, Flatline, Volt, G7 Scout, Mozambique, Devotion, and Peacekeeper.

The crossover’s main Mythic cosmetic is the Hadoken Mythic Universal Melee, which includes a matching Deathbox. EA’s initial announcement confirms the cosmetic but does not provide complete pricing information, so players should check the in-game store when the event begins.

Not every event reward requires a purchase. Players can earn Zenny by participating in the event and spend it in the Reward Shop. Available rewards include the Lifeline x Li-Fen Epic skin, Apex Packs, Battle Pass Stars, Crafting Metals, trackers, and an event badge.

Additional promotional rewards include:

• Twitch Drop: Watch an eligible Apex Legends stream for 60 minutes between 22 and 29 September to earn the Insert Coin Here Weapon Charm.
• Discord Quest: Play Apex Legends for 15 minutes between 22 September and 12 October to earn the Kung Fu Coach Tracker Set.

A linked EA account is required to receive Twitch and Discord rewards. Players must also link their EA account to the relevant Twitch or Discord account.

What the crossover means for UK players

UK players will have three weeks to experience the special Wildcard gameplay and work through the event Reward Shop. The event is available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC through the EA app, Epic Games Store, and Steam.

Fighter Form changes the usual Apex Legends combat flow by introducing a third-person perspective and fighting game-inspired abilities. Players will need to adjust their positioning, movement, and approach to close-range combat when these abilities are active.

The event’s limited run means its modes and earnable rewards are scheduled to leave on 13 October. However, players should not assume that every paid cosmetic will never return. EA has not stated that all crossover cosmetics are permanently exclusive to this event.

A persistent internet connection and an EA account are required to play. Platform subscriptions may also be required, depending on the platform and its policies.

How to top up for Apex Legends cosmetics

Some Street Fighter 6 cosmetics may be available through the Apex Legends store or event offers. Check the in-game store after the event begins to confirm each item’s price, currency, and purchase method before adding funds.
